| Mrs. Roberta Seals has used Dr. Benziger's work for more than ten years. She initially contacted Dr. Benziger because she was trying to help her own son who was a young black male at risk in LA schools, being told he was "dumb" and at risk of dropping out. Roberta had heard that Dr. Benziger's model could help people understand and identify their gifts and themselves in an empowering way. After attending one of Dr. Benziger's Level 1 Licensing Workshops Roberta used Dr. Benziger's work to help her son understand himself. The result was that within a short time rather than getting into trouble and dropping out, her son was succeeding in school and defining himself as an entrepreneur who had three businesses. As her son benefited so much from the work Roberta began to share Dr. Benziger's work with others who were in the same system. Helping them take control of their lives and turn their lives around. Mrs. Seals still lives in LA and still works to try to help black and Hispanic families, most especially those with at risk kids. | ||
