 Joseph Schechtman is a national consultant, trainer, clinician, motivational speaker and a professor at Cambridge College in the graduate special education department. Consulting to schools and school districts across the country, he specializes in:
  • Leadership training and coaching for superintendents and principals
  • Developing high performance teams
  • Creating safe and effective classrooms
  • Brain compatible teaching
  • Working with “at risk” students
Joe also consults with businesses and non profit organizations.

In his private practice, Mr. Schechtman works primarily with students who have been diagnosed with ADHD and people who have experienced emotional, physical and or sexual abuse. As a licensed provider of the Benziger Thinking Styles Assessment (BTSA), Joe uses the BTSA in his leadership training to help leaders understand their strengths , manage their weaknesses and build teams with complimentary skills. His passion is studying treatment models to heal trauma and continually grow his clinical skills.
