Carl Gustav Jung
Carl Gustav Jung (26 July 1875 – 6 June 1961) was a Swiss psychiatrist, who delineates how each person given a chance to develop, use and be rewarded for using his natural preferences can live an energized, meaningful and directed life. Sixty years ago, Jung helped people who had the time, money and motivation to come to Switzerland to work with him for a year or longer.
The model he evolved and applied in helping his clients is articulated in his best-known and most comprehensive work, Psychological Types, as well as in other books by and about Carl Jung. In the intervening decades, many aspects of Jungian Theory have become generally accepted by those working with people in counseling, career counseling, or team building.
