	WHAT IS A KBA LICENSEE? WHAT IS A KBA AFFILIATE? Spreading the good word: developing strong leadership with KBA. The majority of professionals and executives become KBA LIcensees with the intention of using the eBTSA and the Benziger Breakthrough to empower themselves to do the work they have been doing (e.g. guiding or leading others) better. People who become KBA Licensees generally work with a large number of people every year so that they can clearly receive an excellent return on their investment in the Workshop (for more information, view the next article). Once certified as a KBA Level 1 Licensee, professionals purchase the eBTSA's and books from KBA at wholesale rates to re-sell to their clients. KBA, LLC and Dr. Benziger offer two levels of training to executives who wish to become more effective and empowering leaders: Level 1 Licensees for those who want to help their own organization or clients. Level 2 LIcensees for those who want to build a business teaching others how to use the BTSA and Benziger Breakthrough family of products - by teaching KBA's Level 1 Licensing Workshop to others in their territory.   KBA Level 1 Licensees Who are KBA's Level 1 Licensees? A KBA Licensee is someone who has attended KBA's in-depth and comprehensive Licensing Workshop where they have learned how to use and interpret the eBTSA, how to use KBA's proprietary profiling software Solution's 1st to produce eBTSA Feedbacks for their clients, and have signed a Licensing Agreement and software lease with KBA. How do I become a KBA Level 1 Licensees? By attending a KBA 5-day, 40-hour Licensing Workshop. All workshop participants are asked to have taken the eBTSA and have read the book Thriving in Mind, written by Dr. Benziger to help her clients apply their eBTSA Feedbacks to their lives, before attending the Licensing Workshop. How do KBA Licensees use the Benizger tools? KBA Level 1 Licensees train to use the BTSA and other Benziger tools with their clients and employees. Exactly how they use the Benziger Breakthrough depends on the specifics of their situation. KBA level 1 Licensees may be corporate professionals who have been selected by their company to bring the Benziger Breakthrough and BTSA into the company to help and empower employees and or to help employees become more effective, such as at Boeing, Proctor & Gamble, and others. In smaller companies the licensee team may include the top executive team. In larger companies, generally HR or OD professionals are selected. KBA Level 1 Licensees may also be business school, management institute, or university professionals who have been selected by their organization to bring the Benziger Breakthrough and the BTSA into the organization generally to work with students and graduate students; such as Rodolfo Rivarola at IAE in Buenos Aires, Ricardo Natera at ICAMI in Guadalajara, and others. KBA Level 1 Licensees may be organizational or management consultants like Gente de Talento in Costa Rica and Thuoper in Colombia. KBA Level 1 Licensees may be independent coaches working with local and global executives like Jan Newcomb. KBA Level 2 Licensees Level 2 Licensee qualification is mainly for people who excel at training and want to grow a business whose focus is using the ebTSA. Level 1 Licensees may take advanced workshops and coaching with Dr. Benziger to become experts in the BTSA, Benziger Breakthrough. Level 2 Licensee teams generally include 3 professionals that have worked to become experts in the BTSA and the Benziger Model and body of knowledge. Level 2 Licensees have a territory which they manage and develop by offering BTSA to their own clients and client companies, as well as by offering the KBA Level 1 Licensing Workshop at Least 2 times a year in that country / territory. Generally, as a Level 2 Licensee expand their territory, the people who attend their Licensing Workshops who live and work in their territory buy their eBTSA at the standard whole sale price form their Level 2 Licensee while the Level 2 Licensee buys their eBTSA's at below wholesale to resell at wholesale prices their Level 1 Licensees. KBA Affiliates Professionals who work with fewer people each year may choose to become a KBA Affiliate instead. Few people choose to do this, but it is an option. KBA Affiliates take a self-study course in the BTSA and Benziger Breakthrough and complete an open book test given by Dr. Benziger. Upon the completion of their self study course, they may work with a KBA Level 1 Licensee who will do the actual profiling for them and their clients.
