THE BENZIGER THINKING STYLES ASSESSMENT
The assessment needed to open our mind's eye.

What is the BTSA? Dr. Benziger has created an ASSESSMENT for measuring Falsification of Type known as the BTSA or Benziger Thinking Styles Assessment. The assessment is used by corporate executives, HR professionals, career counselors, therapists and individuals seeking to empower themselves to live a happier, healthier life in the United States, Latin America and elsewhere in the world. This assessment is not a test: there are no right or wrong answers. Simply, the BTSA is a tool for developing a clear understanding about the ways our minds work, and they way we may be using them inefficiently.

The assessment is available for:
  • individuals wishing to be profiled because they want to learn more about themselves to help themselves make better life decisions
  • professionals seeking improved tools for coaching or guiding their clients
  • managers and business owners seeking improved tools to better employ their workers
The BTSA is the paper and pencil version assessment which can be obtained by contacting KBA, LLC directly.

The eBTSA is the electronic version of the BTSA. It can either be downloaded, or taken on-line. For more information, click here.

An individual's results are analyzed and interperted by Licensees and a 22-page fully personalized Feedback Document is subsequently produced and sent or given to the individual.

What do I do after I take the BTSA and receive my results? The BTSA is a tool to help you monitor how effectively you are living true to type at any point in time. The first time you take the BTSA, you will be using it to:
  • help you identify your natural preference
  • help you understand how much you may have been falsifying type in order to belong, survive or succeed
Once you have an understanding of your preference, you will be able to use the guidelines provided in Thriving in Mind to help you lessen the extent to which you falsify type - by leveraging your preference consciously and frequently each day, and by consciously managing how you handle all tasks that require skills not managed by your preference.

Experience has shown that people benefit most if they re-take the BTSA every few years. If you have been falsifying type for some time, the first time you take the BTSA, it would be a good idea for you, to retake the BTSA in about 1 year to find out how successfully you have reowned your preference.

After that even when you are living true to type it is a good idea to take the BTSA every few years - or whenever you notice that you are feeling challenged or facing new pressures.

Life changes so often and in so many unexpected, yet normal ways that we don't always notice when and where we are being asked to falsify. So taking the BTSA for those who are living true to type is like a wellness check.
